I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the Office of Mayor of the great city of Imperial Beach.

As someone who came to this country as a legal immigrant over thirty years ago, I have experienced firsthand the incredible promise of the American Dream. It is a promise of opportunity that must be extended to all of our fellow citizens.

For too long, Imperial Beach has suffered under the oppressive weight of bureaucratic inefficiency and government mismanagement. As a result of massive budgetary shortfalls and a rapidly rising deficit, the city faces a fiscal crisis of catastrophic proportions.

As a successful local businessman and a long-time civic activist – serving in lead roles on a diverse range of local boards and commissions, including the District Attorney’s Citizens Advisory Board, the San Diego County Citizens Law Enforcement Review Board, the San Diego County Planning Commission, and as a past alternate to the RPSDC Central Committee for United States Congressman Darrell Issa – I possess the unique background and depth of experience necessary to implement the most effective policies in the pursuit of lasting growth and prosperity.
